Freight Bill Reconcile — 3-way match in TMSDASH

Overview

Audit and pay carrier freight bills with a three-way match — rate con ↔ BOL ↔ POD. Each freight bill is reconciled against the contracted rate, shipment weight, and pickup/delivery dates; variances and discrepancies are flagged for review before approval. A Freight Bill Reconcile workflow runs the match automatically on new bills, and you can re-run reconciliation on any bill manually. (ShipperTMS only.)

Step-by-step

1. 1Open the sidebar → Outbound → Freight Audit.
2. 2Review the summary cards for billed, approved, disputed, and paid totals.
3. 3Open a freight bill to see its reconciliation status, discrepancies, and variance.
4. 4Click Re-run reconciliation to re-check the three-way match on demand.
5. 5Approve a matched bill, dispute a variance bill with a short-pay reason, or record a payment.
6. 6Filter by status tab (received, matched, variance, disputed, approved, paid) to focus your audit queue.
