How TMSDASH collects, uses, and protects your data across CarrierTMS, BrokerTMS, and the carrier portal.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TMSDASH ("TMSDASH," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the TMSDASH platform, including CarrierTMS, BrokerTMS, the carrier load portal, the driver mobile portal, the public Motor Carrier List directory, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). We build the Service for transportation carriers and brokers, and we are committed to handling your data responsibly.

This policy applies to workspace admins, invited team members, drivers, and partner carriers who interact with the Service. It does not apply to third-party services you connect; those are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

Account & workspace data: company name, DOT/MC numbers, contact name, work email, phone, address, and the credentials you use to sign in. When you sign up, we create a carrier workspace and record you as its admin.

Business records you create: loads (origins, destinations, dates, commodities, rates), drivers (names, license class/number, GPS position), vehicles, customers, employees, invoices, carrier payables, fuel and expense logs, DVIR inspections, and documents you upload.

Usage & device data: log data, browser type, IP address, pages visited, and activity within the Service, used to operate and secure the platform.

Communications: messages you send us (for example, support requests) and the email addresses used for notifications and tender invitations.

Payment information: when you subscribe, billing is handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including provisioning your isolated carrier workspace.
  • Authenticate users, enforce access controls, and keep one workspace's data separate from another's.
  • Send transactional and operational notifications (load assignments, status changes, tender invites, billing).
  • Process subscriptions, issue invoices, and record payments.
  • Provide support and respond to your requests.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We process personal data based on our legitimate interests in operating the Service, our contractual relationship with you, and where required by law. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

4. How We Share Information

TMSDASH does not sell your personal information. We share data only as described here:

  • Service providers: vendors that help us host, secure, and operate the Service, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Payment processors: to handle subscription billing.
  • Your carrier portal: when you publish a load or send a tender, relevant shipment details are visible to the carrier vendor you invite, by link, or by PIN — as you choose.
  • Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TMSDASH, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your workspace is active or as needed to provide the Service. After your account is closed, we retain records for a reasonable period to allow export, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, then delete or anonymize them.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including workspace-level isolation so one organization cannot access another's records, encrypted authentication, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for the users you invite to your workspace.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access or receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, contact us through the Contact page. Workspace admins can also export or delete records from within the Service. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Driver & Partner Carrier Data

The organizations that use TMSDASH control most of the business data in the Service — including driver profiles, GPS positions, inspections, and documents. If you are a driver or a partner carrier, the carrier or broker that invited you is responsible for that data, and you should contact them first with questions. TMSDASH processes this data on their behalf as described in our Terms of Use.

9. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features. We do not use cookies to sell your data or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected in accordance with this policy and applicable law, including appropriate safeguards where required.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the "Last updated" date, and we will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Contact

Questions or requests about your privacy can be sent through the Contact page or to admin@tmsdash.com. For privacy-specific requests, mark your message "Privacy Request."
